3-7p: Montana Dinosaur Center 30th Anniversary Open House – Rich Clough & the Loose Mules, activities and free admission!

  • 9 a.m.–3 p.m. — Choteau Soroptimists Summer Festival, arts and crafts vendors, concessions, music, Choteau City Park. Free admission.

  • Noon–1 p.m. — Choteau Community Band Concert in the City Park at the Choteau Pavilion band shell. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and listen to the band under the direction of conductor Fred Gnojek.

  • 1 p.m. — Choteau Soroptimists Duck Races on Spring Creek in the City Park. Duck tickets sell for $10 each and ducks will compete in several heats and the main event. Tickets are available in advance from Soroptimists and at Country Hallmark. Tickets will also be sold on the day of the event in the park.

  • 4 p.m. — Choteau American Legion NRA rodeo slack. Admission is $5. Food and beverage concessions available.

  • 5–8 p.m. — Choteau Chamber of Commerce brew fest with music by Risky Bizness in the City Park. Admission is free. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.

  • 9 p.m. — Street dance to the music of Shakedown County at the Choteau American Legion Club.

  • Reminder: No parking on Main Avenue North from the Courthouse to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church until after the 4th of July Parade.

  • 6:30–7:45 a.m. — Race-day registration, “Let Freedom Run” 5K and 1-mile fun runs, Choteau City Park (northwest corner). Races start at 8 a.m.

  • 9 a.m. — Parade lineup behind Teton County Courthouse. Entries wanting to be judged for prizes must pay a $5 entry fee.

  • 10 a.m. — “Red, White and Boom” parade, sponsored by the Choteau Chamber.

  • 11:15 a.m. — Choteau Chamber Pitchfork Fondue Steak Fry, at the Pavilion in the City Park.

  • 2 p.m. — Choteau American Legion NRA Rodeo, Choteau Rodeo Grounds. (Community band begins performing in the stands at 1 p.m.) Admission is charged.

  • Dusk — Community fireworks display.

  • 11 a.m. — Keg hockey outside the Choteau American Legion Club.

  • 12–3 p.m. — Choteau High School class of 2015 reunion at the Stage Stop Inn.

  • 2 p.m. — Dunk tank outside the Choteau American Legion Club.

  • 2 p.m. — Choteau High School class of 1975 reunion at the Choteau Country Club.

  • 3 p.m. — Cornhole tournament and human foosball, in the vacant lot between Bieler’s Law Office and Choteau Arts Studio & Gallery.

  • 6 p.m. — Family-friendly street dance to 50 Watt Sun outside the Choteau American Legion Club.
