It’s Small Business Season in Choteau!

Small Business Season™ Is Big in Choteau!
Small businesses deserve more than one day of support.

So, we’re issuing a challenge to shop small all season long.

Think about the difference it could make to our businesses and the local economy if everyone pledged to buy one thing a week from a small business, whether that’s a meal, a cup of coffee, a book, a present, a decoration, a service or even a ticket to a local event!

Will you join us in the pledge to:

  • Shop
  • Dine In
  • Take Out
  • Stop By
  • Support
  • Browse
  • Leave A Review For

A Local Business?

Small businesses are a big deal. Let’s show them what they mean to us.

About the event

Need to upgrade your business’ finances? Need a refresher on the basics? Feeling lost? Join us in Choteau for an introductory overview of how to navigate and make the most out of QuickBooks Desktop! This will be a two-day course with computers and refreshments provided, with a combination of general instruction and 1-on-1 guidance. Admission is $30/day and must be paid online and in advance. Each day has a maximum of 20 seats available.

Day 1 (Thursday, June 2, 2022) will cover the basics of QuickBooks Desktop: how to navigate the software, how to enter your business’ information, how to enter transactions for your business, and other key fundamentals. The objective is to get users familiar with the essentials for data entry.

Day 2 (Friday, June 3, 2022) will focus on putting a QuickBooks Desktop to work for your business, or, as our instructor likes to say, “The data is in– now what?” Day 2 will focus on how to run reports in QuickBooks Desktop and how to use different kinds of reports to assess different aspects of your business.

On both days, the introductory overview will take place in the morning (9 am-12pm). After a break for refreshments, attendees will be able to sign up for 1-on-1 counseling sessions between 12:30 pm and 4 pm to go deeper into detail with their own business. The length of these counseling sessions will depend on how many attendees arrive who sign up for one.
